I went into their offices and the lady at the front desk was very helpful, I came in to set up my utilities and she walked me through the process, she answered my questions, and i was very please with how easy it was. Later on, I had some questions about logging in, to set up payments, and when i called, the lady on the phone was very helpful and not rude in the slightest. Not sure where are all these negative reviews are coming from but I didnt have an issue here.

The old lady there is one of the rudest people I've ever met. She must really hate her life. How are you going to charge me a $40 late fee when my payment told me it was succeasful? You didn't even notify me until two weeks later that the routing number was incorrect, when it was correct the whole time. And I still have to pay a $40 late fee.

Ladies who work here are extremely rude. Darcy or Denise whatever the "customer service" rep that answers. She wants you to give her a credit card number and get off her phone. She obviously hates her job. She only cares to take your money and get you off the phone. Don't expect her to explain anything to you before hand or answer and questions or concerns you may have. She didn't get the memo that her job description involved customer service skills. She's rude. She will cut you off. If you manage to get a question in she will first sigh and give you a half answer with a whole lot of sass and attitude. Went from trying to provide them with a credit letter of good standing with a prior utility company in order to waive the deposit, to them swindling my husband into a credit check (hit to our credit although we shouldn't because we are closing on a house) and paying not the initial $250 deposit but a double deposit at $500!!!!! They believe that living in military housing and the utilities being allowed isn't valid even though we came from Hawaii and had to pay additional monies out of pocket to cover the remainder of the utility bill each month for the past three years.

Don’t become a landlord in Fountain. You are responsible for your tenants utility debts which the utility department is too negligent/lazy to collect from the contracting party.

Such a bad company. Rented a house, they wouldn't accept PG&E letter of credit, so I had to wait for a snail mailed version. Took a month to come. The owner of my rental informed me that there was $248 in charges that are owed. Fountain Utilities said they cant breakdown a bill by date. So now I have to pay the entire bill, instead of just since I moved in. Also the employees are the worst. It really feels like they get off on refusing to help you. They don't even try. Every time I call, it's" no we cant do that", or "No we wont accept that". I've dealt with 6 different utility companies and this is the worst ever. PG&E is the largest utility company on earth and they wont accept their letter of credit. I wonder if they split the $250 deposit between them. Because I've also read that you never get it back. In 2017 what company doesn't have a website where you can manage your account?
