Dr. Smith and her staff at Four Paws Animal Clinic have provided our pets with amazing care over the past 15+ years. Dr. Smith's care and treatment of our dog and cats, at both regular well-care visits and emergency visits, has always been with both a clinical eye to what is best for our pets and an emotional sense of what is best for our family. The dog grooming services they offer are also the absolute best in the Chapel Hill/Durham area. We love Four Paws Animal Clinic and can't imagine putting our pets' care in the hands of anyone else!

My family has been with Four Paws for decades, and we love the care they provide to our pets and us.  Dr. Smith always goes the extra mile to explain what is happening to our pets and what options we have.  She even comes to our home when we have to let a pet go so that the pet doesn't have to undergo the trauma of going into her office in its last moments.  Best vet ever!

We love Four Paws!  They treat all of us (both humans and dogs) as family and with the utmost respect.  Dr. Smith and the techs are so patient and answer all of our questions thoroughly and are always available if we have concerns.  Our two (large-ish sized) dogs don't mind getting their exams here because they always get treats and love. For a vet, they are fairly priced and I always appreciate that they are willing to break down and explain the exact costs of everything so there are no surprises. We won't be going anywhere else for our dogs needs!

My dog is VERY scared when he goes to the vet. (He's a rescue and we're not quite sure all he's been through.) Four Paws has done a wonderful job with treating him kindly, painlessly restraining him (and he's a 70lb dog!), and so so understanding when he's fearful. They have always been thorough with all of my pets and given me lots of information. When I'm in "pet mama" mode, they check on all of my concerns, however minor.  I also really like that it's a small practice, since I get to see the same faces again and actually get to know the individuals working there, even though I'm only there a handful of times a year. All in all, 5/5 :)

Four Paws is excellent. I bought a very young puppy, and after hearing horror stories (of other vets) giving new owners a hard time for purchasing puppies on craigslist, etc., I was nervous for our first visit. Everyone at Four Paws was extremely kind, supportive, helpful, and just generally nice to be around. Prices very reasonable (and first time UNC students even get a discount!). Would recommend!
