This is a wonderful vet! Dr. Smith and all other staff are great. I've been to a few others in the Triangle area but will only take my pets here since discovering a couple years ago.

Dr Diehl is wonderful. He has taken great care of our dogs for years. The staff is friendly. Pet grooming is available.

Online reviews were not available the last time I was at TAH, but since I am still in a state of disgust I thought I would opine now. Some years ago I was in the waiting room when I overheard a conversation between the receptionist and someone who called to make an appointment to get their cat spayed. The caller was asked if they would like to also do a declawing at the same time (!!!!!!!!!!!!) I was appalled and never went back. What a horribly cruel thing to do to cats in the first place, but for a veterinary practice to encourage such mutilation as if it were a simple nail trimming is just criminal. I sincerely hope that is not still done. Whenever I am looking for a new vet the first thing I ask is if they declaw. No vet should offer declawing, tail docking or ear cropping.
