I usually go to the Franks car wash in Lexington but decided to go to the one in Columbia today since it's closer. It was terrible for the price you pay for a wash. The vacuums had terrible suction and the employee agreed. I went through the wash and had soap left all over the front of my SUV, my back and sprayed all down the sides. It was dripping from my hood onto the sides of the car. I got out and asked if they could spray it all off for me and they said they usually just wipe it off. They didn't have a hose. I can understand if it were a little bit but honestly it was a lot. The employees were great and very friendly. I have absolutely no problem with my experience with the employees.. This location and wash is trash!

I have been to Franks in the past and have really been impressed with the results…..but…… I went to get my car washed yesterday and I have never been so disappointed.  I could have had a 10yr old to wash my car and he would have done a better job.  There was trash left on the floor, the reams were not clean.  I paid extra for the tire shine and could not tell there was any on the tires.  The inside was half-assed done.  I know what I am talking about since I use to do this for a living.

Staff seems to not care about cleaning your car. Been there two times and got the same type of service. First time one of the team members was smoking a cigar around my car while other team members were cleaning it. Not cool. Second time there were a lot of customers and you would think their priority would be to move the line along by doing their job. However, there was someone selling  perfume and cologne out of their trunk. This caught the attention of several team members as they walked up and checked out the trunk sales persons wares. The person cleaning my car decided to pull out the lining in my door and leave it like that. I only noticed it this morning. I cannot recommend this spot to get a car wash. I would try their location on Lake Murray Blvd or the automated one on Augusta Highway. The Franks in Columbia should just be avoided until they correct team member issues. I'm sure not all of them are bad but it only takes a few people that don't care to totally ruin a good customer experience.

Inefficient but they did a good job.  Odd as you have to get out of your car to buy the wash.   Most places someone comes up to your car and offers you the different Services. Here you have to figure it out for yourself based on the signs.

They also have a very inefficient system as they try to vacuum and clean the Interiors of the car at the front of the wash line holding up the entire wash line. Took me almost 45 minutes to get through with 5 cars ahead of me.

Fast and good service. Get basic wax. Stay away from hand wax!
