I've been travelling through Oregon recently and Fred Meyer seems to be Oregon's choice for large supermarket/big box store chain, something I'm happy about. This is like a classier Walmart that's more grocery-focused. The staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable.

Appreciated bottle drop but 1/2 of the machines were out of order and it was very dirty. 
Staff at customer service friendly.

I love how Fred Myers donates to nonprofits every time you shop.. support The Ocean Blue and add our nonprofit to your rewards card and clean up the Ocean!

Probably the best overall grocery and general merchandise shopping on the central Oregon coast; across the street from Walmart. Very convenient

I have never seen a mess here and when you do find a worker they do do there best and try to help you find what your looking for. But with all large stores there are a couple of rotten eggs in the carton( I mean that there are a couple of employed that work here who would not work with paying costumers, they are just rude. I have never had trouble with Fred Meyers literal eggs.) I do recommend them for there variety and most of the time there prices are good.
