I ordered a veggie burger, and though I appreciate the fact that there’s vegetarian options in town, I have to say the sandwich had absolutely no structural integrity. Perhaps this was my own fault because I added green chile to said burger which tends to be slippery and I also drove around for 15 minutes before getting home to eat it. Regardless, when I opened the box and picked up the sandwich, I watched in horror as all of its insides slid out into my hands, coating them with its life fluid. I knew the only way to end its suffering would be to eat it as quick as possible, so I did so relentlessly, picking up all of the pieces with my fingers like some sort of ruthless animal. Attached is a photo of the aftermath don’t look if you’re sensitive, please say your prayers for our fallen brother. Overall though, the sandwich tasted okay and the guy who took my order was extremely polite. Wish it didn’t cost so much cause I’m a broke college kid so I’ll probably just make my own veggie burger next time.
Came here and ordered a side of cheese fries, when my order was called out I went to the counter and they gave me the rest of my order, but no cheese fries. Went back to the counter and asked for my cheese fries with my receipt. The employee told me they forgot to make them. Frustrating. When my cheese fries finally came out the employee tells me they were out of cheese and used shredded cheddar cheese instead. Ok. I open the box and see not even melted cheese! So frustrating! They couldn’t melt the cheese? So much for my graduation night should’ve went somewhere else so disappointing. Didn’t even get offered a discount or anything. Wow.
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers in Las Cruses on Telshor Blvd is a must experience for families that love the old diner experience. We have visited a location in Dallas twice before and the visit in Las Cruses was just as steller. The food is awesome, especially the fries, cheese sauce and cheese curds, the diner and bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Come make this place a regular experience for family outings.
I went through the drive-through When you first opened up I was very dissatisfied with the burger it was dry nothing special so I went back today to give it a second chance and again the worst Patty melts I’ve ever had no cheese dry bread it was just piles of onions on the hamburger patties. The girl at the drive-through read my order back before she charged me and said that it was a burger and I said no it’s a patty melt and she was pretty smart mouthed When I told her I didn’t order a hamburger or I ordered a patty melt,And she said technically it’s just a hamburger and I said no Patty melt is a sandwich So I told her if you’re saying it’s a burger and I wasn’t happy with the first time I said to give me some sauce to put on it in case I didn’t like it well of course no sauce could hide the flavor of pure onions and dry bread..And the price was too high for a dry onion sandwich will never go back and will never recommend
Ordered two burger meals. Was very hard to hear employee in drive thru speaker. Found a hair in one of the burgers. One burger order was messed up, they forgot to add grilled onions. Chili cheese fries were bland.
Tried the new onion burger. It was pretty good but was loaded w/way too much sauce. We weren't greeted like they do in Texas. They welcome you to Freddy's and then tell you to have a good day or Thank you as you leave. The cashier didn't say anything just walked up to the register and waited for us to order. Thought it was a Lil impersonal seeing me and 3 other guests were the only ones there at the time. Still love the food, just a Lil disappointed in customer service.
Go by here for lunch sometimes. Not my personal preference but for change. Food is okay. Meat a little too salty for me. Onion rings were really good and my daughter loves the shoestring fries. I wanted a Chicago dog but our store doesn't have it. Went for a grilled cheese which is on a hamburger bun. It was good tho. Custard shake, yum
Good fast food, a little different than the everyday all over the place burger joints. Good ice cream options. You can get the sundaes in signature form just the way we remember or 'concrete where they blend the ingredients thruout the dish. Also one of the only places in town that I know of to serve shoestring fries !!
I mean how hard is it to listen, we say no sauce and the slap it on there anyway, we said no onions and they put a whole onion on there. I get it you work at a fast food restaurant so you may not care how you do your job. But ask yourself this, if you can’t take a simple food order how good are you going to be at a serious job. Think about it and do better
This was my first visit ever at a Freddy's. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff were very nice and polite. The fry sauce reminds me of Thousand Island. I tried the Double California Burger. The patties are rather thin but overall I liked it. For dessert, I tried the dirt n worms specialty. Good stuff. I love that there are outlets at every single booth. That's why I ended up getting dessert because I ended up charging all of my electronics. Thank you for that!
