Looks to me like Freddy has a lot of employees, friends and family posting positive reviews. Truth is the staff is not knowledgeable and are rude. My experience there was far from positive.

Freddy is a great man. I have been coming to his pawn shop for about a year. I have bought lots and have sold a few items to him he has never done me wrong. His daughter works alongside him she is very nice and Mia Vargas as well as the rest of Freddy's staff have done a great job for me for every visit. I come from Smiley TX a hour away to come to New Braunfels TX about a hr and a half drive to do business with Freddy's Pawn Shop and have never been disappointed. I 
recommend this and only this pawn shop to everyone his gun prices beat anyone's buying or selling he never will do you wrong!

I just picked up a transferred firearm from Freddy's, and for any future transfers, this will be my permanent choice. Great staff, quick to get the background check and transfer finished, and charged me half of what I was previously paying for transfers. I highly recommend Freddy's Pawn & Jewelry.

Really excellent customer service that went above and beyond when I needed to transfer a pawn agreement to another item. Super professional, nice items and very clean. This is not a sketchy pawn shop-- I would highly recommend.

They had a decent selection and I was told that they had a specific item I was after in stock.  I went and was immediately greeted by the person I came in to see and found the item I was after.  Nice shop good selection.  The manager on duty and a woman that was working left me with. Very bad feeling for the business when they started bad mouthing the other employee that suggested I go in there.  Kinda made me curious to see what they would say about customers to each other if they talk about one of their own to a first time customer!  I had heard great things about this place but now I just don't know.  Probably won't be back unless I'm dealing with Freddy
