Was a regular, getting my lunch every single day from this particular Freshii. Then, today, I crunched down into a piece of glass in my bowl. I had already swallowed most of the bite, but I was able to fish out a couple of small, fractured pieces from my mouth.

What galls me is not so much the glass itself, but how incredibly poor the owner's reaction was when I walked all the way back from my office and talked to him.

He first questioned the premise, saying he had no idea how glass could have gotten into the food ("not calling you a liar..."). This situation happens but is rare, so whatever. But then the owner asked to see the piece of glass, which I produced and he inspected. As I was still talking to him, he casually dropped it, obviously hoping to ditch the evidence. He had also initially offered a refund when I first walked in, but when our conversation concluded and I requested said refund, he tried to tell me that THEY COULDN'T GIVE REFUNDS. Incredulous, I questioned this and he then changed his tune, asking if I had paid by card. I had, and he said in that case they could. ...Which is silly. 

I really wasn't super angry when I came in. I like the workers there a lot, and up to today I've (obviously) enjoyed the food. But the owner, in his attempts to both sloppily duck responsibility and keep the stupid $10 I paid for the meal, is what has me writing this right now. Why is it so hard for people to simply be decent?

A very healthy "fast food" place! (Don't have to wait long for any type of order.) The pricing is modest for the type of food you get. If your appetite is feeling adventurous, you can create a custom meal from the myriad of ingredients that they have. Or you can just chose from the menu (see my review pictures, there are more menu pictures that I will upload soon). The Staff are super friendly! One minor thing I love is that if you ask for water with a meal (instead of their awesome smoothies/juices) you get filtered room temperature water. Just a small positive thing for people who hate cold water, that gets their throat congested.
