What a pleasant surprise! Simply Thalia was closing and the manager was kind enough to send us here. Excellent rolls with just the right amount of rice. Loved the Volcano Roll and the salmon sashimi was fresh. Very cool vibe in the restaurant too. It's our new sushi place in Chicago.

Ryo Sushi is a relatively new, little-known, and under-rated establishment in the loop,.I was very impressed with my entire experience there. The food is great quality and well presented. The service is prompt and waitstaff are friendly and helpful in offering suggestions from the menu when asked. The restroom is very bright and clean. My order included: spicy tuna roll, volcano roll, crazy tuna roll, jalapeno roll, and salmon sushi. All were very tasty. My favorite was probably the crazy tuna. I will most definitely be back here for more!

Very quick service. Very fresh sushi (sticky rice around the roll is the best I’ve ever had). Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Cheap and reasonable prices. Awesome people watching spot. Really recommend their California roll. HIGHLY recommend this place.

This low key corner spot give you easy access to people watch, and see the hustle and bustle from millennial park. The decor is inviting and contemporary, but less can be said for the staff. They were fine and polite but not inviting whatsoever. The sushi appearance was beautifully done, and the freshness of ingredients were top notch. That being said the flavor, and consistency across the roll was erratic . Some pieces had too many fish eggs, other had too little avocado etc. Good experience, but will not be coming back.

This modern, casual restaurant offers everything I'm looking for in a favorite sushi shop. They have a broad menu of traditional and American sushi and surami, plus dozens of rolls. There are lots of options for vegetarians and plenty for non-sushi lovers in my party. The staff is friendly and efficient, and very happy to answer any questions.
