Fast service, honest prices, and good people. They fixed my computer the same day I brought it in and saved me the cost of a replacement part. Would definitely recommend

I spilled a cup of coffee  on my laptop, thought it would be the end.  Paid $130 for them to figure out the computer was fine, clean out the rest of the coffee and replace the keyboard that had been fried.  Only downside was that it took five days to get the new keyboard. Didn't have any other issues.

Approximately four months after buying my HP touchscreen laptop in 2016, I spilled red wine on the keyboard and some of the keys stopped working.  I used the touch screen and purchased a blue tooth keyboard; only problem was the space it took up.  A screw fell out of the hinge and my laptop could not close properly.  Friendly was professional and friendly.  They quoted $200 to fix; I told them I'd call them within two weeks to fix.  I tore my achilles tendon and did not get back to them right away.  I came back to the store and asked that they fix my laptop.  They contacted me to say that my hard drive was broken, to fix the hinges was too expensive and that they could not fix the keys.  In summary, it was too expensive to fix.  I called back again to ask about my hard drive because the laptop was operable before bringing it to them for service.  I was then told that they never said anything was wrong with my hard drive; they just wanted to make sure nothing was wrong because it does not make sense to spend a lot of money to get it fixed if there was a problem.  Why would I bring them my laptop to fix  and not let them know something was wrong with the hard drive if I knew something was wrong???  The 360 degree change in customer service leads me to believe they broke my laptop.  Each time, we spoke they asked if I left the power cord??

My computer crashed and I needed someone to retrieve the data off my hard drive.  I had transferred all my CDs onto my computer, which took over a year -- almost 17,000 songs.  So I really wanted that data!  John at Friendly Computer Services was very helpful and charged me a very reasonable amount to recover the data, back it up on an external drive, and load it on to my new computer. (At a big box store the quote they gave me was literally ten times more!)  I recommend this store highly for their prompt, courteous service and reasonable pricing.
