Story

Fry Heating / Cooling / Plumbing is a customer focused heating and air-conditioning company that was originally started in 1930 by our Grandfather and continuously owned and operated by 3 sons and now one grandson. Located in Toledo and Port Clinton Ohio, we employ highly trained people whose goal is to make our company the best service company. Our company specializes in designing, engineering, and installing complete comfort systems for owners of existing homes just like yours. We take special pride in the craftsmen we train and employ--a fact you'll notice immediately in the attitude and integrity they bring to your job site. Our entire company works hard to make your experience with us hassle-free and enjoyable. Should we make a mistake, we will do everything in our power to correct it to your satisfaction.

I would just like to update you on the status of my review. April contacted me early this morning and sent Denny back out to our home. (Denny is great)! Prior to Denny arriving, April came out to our home to personally apologize and make the situation right. I have to say she really rectified the situation and due to her effort and caring about what happened, we will be giving them a second chance and will have them back into our home to make boiler repairs. I think it says a lot about a company when they see reviews and effort they make to correct it, April and Denny left us feeling confident in their work and we can really see that they care about having happy customers. I would recommend this company, I would just recommend speaking with April if you have questions or a unique situation like we had. Denny was the technician who came to our home both times, and both times he was professional and knowledgeable along with kind. He explains what’s going on and answers questions throughly. Thank you April and Denny for correcting the problem along with your professional knowledge and kindness. I look forward to speaking with you in the future. 

This was my original post, since then, they have made us very happy customers and will rehire them in the future for our boiler repairs.
Hello friends and neighbors. **** DO NOT CALL Fry heating and plumbing. **** They have the worst customer service, they show up 6 hours past their scheduled time to arrive making my family members miss out on plans that couldn’t be changed because someone had to be home, they were told to do a “clean and service on the boilers” and instead they do a “diagnostic check”. Which it’s literally a few dollars difference and the service is more, so not sure why they deliberately didn’t do as they were instructed. I just don’t want you to have to have to go through the headache we went through today. Please don’t use this company! People like this should not be allowed to be in business. It’s not ok to mess with someone’s times and money, and then be rude to them. I don’t post reviews often, you either have to be “A-class stellar” or “bottom of the feeding tank” and this company was “below bottom of the feeding tank”. Please save your time and money, and use someone else!

Was hopeful that this family owned business would be willing to help us install a furnace/central air that we had already purchased from another company.  However I was sadly disappointed.  They only want to install units that THEY sell.  Be ware.

My furnace stopped working today. I called and had the on-call man return my call. An hour later, he returned my call.  He informed me there were 5 people ahead of me and he could put me on his list but if a good customer calls in the mean time, he will take care of them before me.  He suggested i call someone else to help me. We have used this company before and I'm not sure what a "good customer" is. I will not be calling them back again.
