I'd recommend only going there if you absolutely need something as soon as possible. Even price matching is a pain in the ass. I remember finding some Corsair RAM for about $30 cheaper and they gave me the run-around for about 30 minutes. Their prices are outrageous and usually knock off brands so you can't price match.

Update 12/18/17
I have officially lost all hope in Fry's. Went in to buy an item and went to use my card with a chip. The chip wasn't working with their machine. I asked to swipe, they refused saying that if your card has a chip it will not let you swipe. I asked if they can enter it in manually and they said they do not do that. As a last ditch effort of doing business with them, I ordered the item online in the parking lot of their store (put in my credit card inform, the whole nine yards) and waited 40 minutes until I finally just walked back in to see why I had not received a confirmation email. I get that all sorted out and get the item at the checkout desk. They ask me to pay for it there. THEY DON'T CHARGE YOU WHEN YOU ORDER IT ONLINE! What is the point of putting in your credit card information online  then?!? All they do is hold it for you. This is by far the worst business practice I have ever seen. Why is it the customer's responsibility to cater to the business. Why wouldn't Fry's have a backup plan if the chip failed? As a result they have lost my business forever. 
What a joke.

You gotta know what you want before buying. Sometimes they don't have a price tag on the item you want to buy. They seem to be fairly lenient on returning electronic hardware. Sometimes an item is at opposite ends of the store. Like a cable adapter that was for a certain price is in the cellphone section instead of PC cables. YMMV, they always have a wide selection.

Great all around. Not as many extremely high end enthusiast computer parts as I'd like, but plentiful for the average and above average computer builder. Just remember to price match and it is an amazing service that are able to provide. I always recommend Fry's over any other big box store.

I have never had a bad customer experience at this store. Prices are great or at least competitive and they price match. I'm really happy with the variety of selections as well... I highly recommend this store.

This is your typical Fry's. Pricing is often hard to determine. Draconian check-outs are always demoralizing. Fry's has the feel of a by-gone department store. The inventory is decent, however. And, sales can be great at times. You have to give your email to get the codes, which stinks. Fry's and Microcenter are the primary brick and mortar stores for electronics so consumers have limited choices to buy local if they happen to even be in one of the cities served. One day, there may be a stellar local shopping experience, but I don't expect this to ever be a.reality.
