I had gone to my first Hibachi when I was in St. Louis for a business trip and it was fantastic so I wanted to take my family to a local one.  It was a good atmosphere and we sat in a room that was away from the main room which was extremely loud.  Our chef was very quiet which seemed odd since they are to be a performer.  The main reason for my rating of 3 is mainly because of the food.  The quality was good but it just did not taste like a $135.00 meal.  I expected alot better.

Tried to post - had to at least give 1 star....
I choose to support local businesses and I'm sorry to say I can't even give 1 star as we didn't even make it to a table...with reservations.  I called earlier in the day to make reservations for party of 9.  I should have known it wasn't going to be a good experience when I called and didn't hear back on my reservation.  I called again to make the reservation and was told they hadn't checked their messages (while they were closed in the afternoon and their message says they check messages often) because they were too busy.  After we arrived we were told it would be a few minutes just waiting for the tables to clear which is totally understandable.  After watching several tables get seated ahead of us and waiting for over 20 minutes, I asked when we would be seated.  The woman asked if our entire party had arrived, just as she had asked when we first arrived and I confirmed this was a yes.  She said we would be the next available table and then turned around to see they seated another party...at our supposed table.  She then admitted to me they made a mistake and we should have been seated long ago. The hibachi tables were full and there were no cooks.  The lobby was full with people waiting.  Apparently there was a big party in a separate room waiting for food as they had not been served.  At that point, since we had 5 kids, it was time to go.  We went to The Rock and had excellent service and awesome food.

Best place for little ones. Pretty much the same show you see everywhere else, but the food is amazing and the staff is very hospitable even to the kiddos making sure they have a good time.

Lobster was overcooked and the portions were tiny. We sat on the other side away from the grill but the smoke and smell from that so was terrible. They had the front door open to help with the ventilation problem but it didn't help. These places are a dime a dozen anymore and this place in particular was forgettable to say the least. Wait staff was friendly.

Everything about this place is awesome!  Except the seating policy...but that's minor.  I mean not so minor that I left it out of the review; but not enough to keep me from coming back. Just eat here.  The food is great and I promise you'll have a ton of fun.
