School History: Fuller Elementary opened in 1977. Its three-level design was unique for Tempe Elementary. The school is named for Dr. Kenneth Fuller, a dentist and 14-year Tempe Elementary Governing Board member and his wife Jean Fuller. A year after it opened, the school won an energy efficiency award.
Fuller Elementary School celebrated it's 30th birthday in February 2007. The reunion/celebration in the school cafeteria included musical entertainment, light refreshments and a chance to reminisce over old Fuller photos and other memorabilia with past and present members of the Fuller community.
