In addition to the Lakeland location, we have been operating in Plant City for more than a decade. We have done so by utilizing the best trained employees and the most advanced technological systems in the industry. We are one of 8 companies in the world to have multiple employees who have passed the most rigorous training and testing that our industry has to offer to become Certified Garment Care Professionals (CGCP). A Certified Garment Care Professional must successfully complete examinations for Certified Environmental Drycleaner, Certified Professional Drycleaner, and Certified Professional Wet-cleaner. So, I just left this sham of a business! After waiting over a week to be contacted by the manager (which never happened btw), in reference to a shirt I returned last week, do to the discovery of several holes in one of my shirts... Only to be told that they weren't responsible for the damage!!!!! Then the manager tells me, " we don't have anything in the computer stating that you've previously done business with us". Well, that's not TRUE!!!!! I've used this cleaners for years, and I always bring large loads to be dry cleaned.... First,it was not pressing my selected pieces, but charging me for it, and once it was brought to there attention, I was promised a discount on my next order( which never happened). I WILL NEVER SPEND A DIME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THESE RACISTS BASTARDS!!!!!!!!

After using Southside for 15 years every week and having a second shirt come back with an odd discoloration on it within the last 8 weeks I have to stop going here. They will not try to fix my shirt or offer up any sort of help to replace my shirt. The response I received was to return it where I bought it. There is no customer loyalty here and that was obvious to me today. Find somewhere else to take your clothes....don’t risk it here.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VALUABLES HERE! This place is a joke! Unfortunately it’s the only one near my home however for now on I’ll be making a drive out of my way to avoid any further headaches! Besides the fact that they don’t do the best job with laundering clothes (they smell like old moldy factory and sweat!) the customer service is also terrible! I came in recently to drop off clothes ( needing my already washed work shirts pressed ) an employee of theirs advised me I had 2 items for pick up but they didn’t have the items to be picked up in the store? Weird right? Well the employee called another one of their locations and told me I could pick up my 2 items when my other clothes were finished being pressed which would take nearly a WEEK! No problem I thought…. Yea right. I get a call 3 whole days later to have a woman by the name of Becky call me and tell me that this establishment had donated MY BELONGINGS!!?? I asked Becky why they sent my things out for donation and she advised me that if they are in the store too long they get rid of them! I asked her why they didn’t call me to let me know I had anything there at all?! Her response, “I don’t know what transpired.”…..and that’s all I got regarding my Clothing. It’s really sad I couldn’t even get a courtesy call or letter of some sort before they gave my things away. If I can save anyone the trouble, AVOID THIS DRY CLEANERS AT ALL COSTS! Clothes have a smell Lose or give away your belongings with no notice Over priced Customer service is terrible.

My Suits come back clean and soft - not chemically stiff and rough. My shirts come back nicely starched the way I like them - med starch, and with no creases in the sleeves. Just started using their pick up and delivery service - what a time saver! Yes, use them. I tried three different cleaners and they were lousy. Southside Cleaners gives you your moneys worth with excellent service!
