Reviews

I've called them twice, once for a desperately awful kitchen sink clog and more recently when I was having trouble with a hot water heater. They arrived fast, worked fast, solved the problem and educated me on regular maintenance, charged a reasonable amount, and they take cash or credit. I'm in an old house and sometimes problems are just inevitable. I feel confidant that they'll send someone to fix the entire problem rather than just patch an issue temporarily. Also, as a woman, sometimes inviting strangers to your home, even for something legitimate like home repair can feel like a safety risk. Both the woman who fixed my sink and the man who fixed my hot water heater were very professional and non-creepers, which is pretty much it's own bonus.

I have used this company on more than one occasion, and I have to say they are the best around.   The plumber that came to my house 3 times was Kevin, and he is awesome.  He's professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with.  He took the time to explain the problem while he was fixing it and I appreciated that.  If you are looking for a plumber in the area, this is the company to use.  I'll keep using them for sure.

My husband and I contacted this plumber and advised them we had been told there was a leak under the house and the subfloor was wet.  They were advised there was crawl space access to check for the leak.  We were advised the only fee would be $24.95 for the dispatch fee.  When the plumber arrived, he was shown pictures taken from under the house from an inspection.  The plumber did not go under the house.  He removed the bottom panel from the dishwasher and looked under the sink.  He stated he would waive the $24.95 fee, but charged a $69.00 hourly rate because he had to get "tools out."  The plumber did not go under the house to check for a leak.  When we called back to address the issue, we were advised the plumber would return and there would be no additional charges because when scheduling the secretary misunderstood the issue.  When the plumber arrived the second time, he stated there would be an additional $24.95 dispatch fee and we should have made it more clear when he was here that the leak was under the house.  I've seen additional reviews indicating this company's billing practices are questionable.  We will be submitting a complaint with BBB as well.  Just beware if you decide to use this company.

Very professional, respectful, and solved our problem quickly! Super helpful and nice staff worked around OUR schedule so someone could be home! We love GM Plumbing!
