Very versed in how insurance works , and don't like to be lied to. Went to the GEICO office owned by Greg Gerard and was surprising pleased at how I was treated. I had my house, car , and umbrella policy moved over to GEICO from State Farm and saved over 1100 dollars . Thought I was on a hidden camera show . How can an insurance company save you THAT much money. You have a customer for life , loved all the agents there making me feel like no matter what my question or problem they will be there for me. Please don't just go off reviews if you're sceptical just come in person.

See for yourselves, they're local office is a joke, I came in to give them biz, with money on hand, a few months ago, and I simply waited in that crumby office ( 2 plastic chairs!) For about 45 minutes without a greet ! Of course I left. I'd give no stars but I'm not trying to hurt their biz- just trying to give/vent my true perspective/frustration. I'm leaving this review now as I've just watched the wmur commercial for them. I called and left a message too of this. Branch Owner Mr. Greg (wasn't there)(portraited in wmur commercial) might b awesome/or not person! (Don't know him)+ same goes for GEICO insurance company as a whole. but c.s. in that office was just not there for me.

Horrible Insurance Company. I have never been treated so disrespectfully. One of their customers rear-ended me and they assume the responsibility to replace my car. They declared my car totaled and quite literally went on Google and found the lowest estimate for the value of my car and said that's what it's worth. When I argue the price they actually laughed at me and acted like I was ridiculous for arguing. Every question I asked, if they even answered them, they would answer in an extremely condescending manner.

Geico insurance co uses your credit score to fig your rate in my case i had lost my parents and had to pay out of pocket my credit went down and guess what Geico cap on it yeah great company thanks for nothing

At first I thought I was getting charged too much,,, that was until I did some research. All the other well known agency's would have ripped me off big time. Saving 349.00 bucks a year may not be much for some, but to me it;s more money in my pocket. As far as customer service goes,, that too I am very pleased with. It's a win win
