I have been a Gemini Salon enthusiast for quite some time.  I have my hair colored, cut and styled by the exquisite designer, Sondra, and always come away from the salon feeling rejuvenated, stylish, and younger!  
The salon is welcoming, and restful with stunning decor to create a unique salon, spa environment.
The Aveda product is second to none, and the staff is well versed on the products that would be most helpful for each client's unique circumstances.
The Gemini Salon and Spa is highly recommended by me.  I would never consider going anywhere else.

First of all, let me tell you what a beyond wonderful stylist Kris is. The passion she has for her work is incredible! When I sit in her chair, not only does she give the exact color/cut I want but she creates a work of art.  She is one of the nicest people and cares very much so about her clients! I have never been happier with my hair and my stylist!

I've been going here for over 10 years and I really love the place. I decided to take my 16 year old daughter to get her vergin hair colored professionally. There is a woman by the name of Chris that I would not recommend for anyone. She messed up my daughters hair by coloring the roots bolder than the rest of the hair. I was offered to come back two weeks later (today) and we did. I asked Chris if she would be able to dye my daughters hair a dark chocolate brown (to go over the burgundy and cover the color) and she used the same hair color she did previously while at the same time telling me it's not the same color. Then because I paid the first time we were there for the color she acted as if her other clients were more important because they were paying today. If someone asks for their hair to be a different color, what gives her the right to decide what she wants to do with someone else's hair rather than the person having to walk around everyday with it?! Never again with this woman. I've never had this problem in over 10 years that I've been coming here. She is bad for business.

I’ve been going for almost two years and I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always cheerful and welcoming. Some salons can be “snooty” and “cliquey” but I’ve never felt that way. The prices for their services are VERY reasonable (compared to the Chicago market where I used to live). If you’re looking for a new salon I highly recommend Gemini!
