A fantastic place to come get some really good food. The have a live pianist in the evenings. Lots of movie and music imagery on the walls making it fun to play a guessing game. Service is quick and friendly. Been coming here since I was a little kid and plan to bring mine here in the future. One of my all time favorites

First time here and when pulling up I thought ah, I'm not sure but the family is very glad we did come. Service was excellent,food was out super fast ,server was awesome. The whole place has such a awesome vibe that makes you feel like your sitting back in the day. Eggs , they know how to make eggs,( most places over cook or brown them) my French toast was awesome!I will be returning !Let's not forget to mention that everyone in that place ,even other customers are so very nice and it's fantastic!

I've been going to Gene's Place my entire life and I've never had anything but 5 Star service! Any time of the day you go there will always be great service and even better food. My personal favorite has to be the strawberry crepes with a side of home fries, but their lunch and dinner menu foods are just as great! Would definitely recommend this to other people as a great local restaurant in West Park.

Planned and packed our baby to meet up and have lunch. Arrived at 1:28pm Sunday. Walked in watching a person being escorted to a table. The hostess came back where we stood with the baby carrier . She snapped rudely “we are closed!” When asked to speak to a manager we were told the kitchen closes at 1:30 however the door said 2pm.   It would have been better to have politely asked or even let us in. Technically it was still a few minutes. Nope, customer service FAIL. Spending my money somewhere else always!
