Definitely not the experience I was expecting. I am used to pushy car salesman, trying to sell you something you don't want or need and no one "needs" a RV/Travel Trailer right?  Tom made the process very relaxing and very enjoyable!! I made an appointment with him a few days earlier and he have a few trailers picked out that he felt fit our needs. He was very informative, engaging to our needs/wants and just an overall great guy. We ended up purchasing a 2018 Open Range 310 from him. Max was awesome and VERY patient with us on our walk-thru of the new trailer as we have a ton of questions. Cassidy was awesome in setting up our appointments and staying on top of everything. I would highly recommend General RV and if you can deal with Tom.

My husband and I were shopping for a new travel trailer.  We started out
close to home and progressively got further and further away, still not finding exactly what we were looking for.  We got to General RV in Huntley, Illinois and started to look around again.  Of course once you see more than 3 or 4 trailers and try to remember what we liked from each one, our looking for the right one became a little frustrating.  Then Jason Bono came into our lives!!  He talked to us first about what we wanted.  Then the search of the lot trailers began.  We kept telling him what was 'wrong' with each one, and he just kept finding another to look at.  This went on for about an hour and a half!  Very patient man!!  We finally found THE ONE!!  There was only 1 option we weren't so sure about, and low and behold, we  could get it changed to what we wanted.  I have posted pictures on FB for my friends and family to see, and now there is a line-up for passengers to come along on our trips! (Maybe we should have gotten a bigger trailer!)  I can't wait to pick it up and head on out for our first trip in comfort.  Thanks for all at General RV in Huntley IL>>>

We just bought a travel trailer from General RV and we couldn't be happier. The price of the trailer was excellent, our salesman, Victor, was knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant without being pushy and Brad, the finance manager, was very low key and organized. Randy walked us through the trailer, explaining in great detail how everything worked. Randy made some excellent suggestions that will make our camping experience more enjoyable. Leon in parts helped me choose accessories I needed-I even got a discount on the parts! Their technicians are hard working and competent. Everyone we dealt with was just plain nice, making this purchase stress-free. If you're looking for a great place to buy an RV or have one serviced I highly recommend General RV.

Absolutely terrible service department.  Cannot return calls or emails, cannot retain or convey information, messes up orders and wastes way too much time... total sham.  Sales department is different so if you need to buy a rig you can do so here... just don't get it worked on here.

Avoid Debi as well as her "superior" Scottie.  Use Bob in service if you absolutely must get something done here as he is genuinely a great guy.

Plenty of choices, helpful but not pushy staff, excellent management and customer service. I shopped here and many places for a couple years before taking the plunge, and they came up with the perfect rig for me. Parts/accessories store is not the biggest, but they seem to focus on having the best. Service recently got my work done satisfactorily and saw that I got my warranty work done within my time frame.
