Don’t get a loan with them worse people ever u tell them you’ll go when you can and they keep calling you and your work place never getting a loan again here it helps but not for them to keep calling ever day can’t wait to pay them off so I don’t have to deal with them again!!!

Be very CAREFUL. I got a collection letter. and called them. They immediately asked me for my ssn. I said no way! There is no account number on their collection letter. They could not find me by name or address. And repediately asked me for ssn and more personal information. Their letter to me was a form letter and blank spaces literally written in GREEN CRAYON!! Watch out be careful these guys want your personal info. I called the department of consumer protection and reported this.

Took my Dad to get a loan here after Security finance didn't want to give my Dad the time of day. Gentry gave him a loan in 10 mins. My Dad has previously paid off loans of both places.

I was recommended by a friend to get a loan here, but they are seriously the worst.they have no compassion or understanding.they are nasty and rude on the phone.they told me that my payments would be on the days I get paid then turned around and said that I have a payment due.they need to be shut down .oh and they lose money orders even when you know you dropped it off in the drop off box .then they lie and say they never got.complete bs from a low budget company.they are rude and impossible to talk to and what finance center doesn't take debit card payments like seriously.ill be glad when I pay it off and never have to see there rude asses anymore

I have had an account with Gentry Finance for the past 4-5 years. I have paid off my loans twice and been in good standing with the company during this time. About a year ago or so I fell medically ill and had a hard time paying my bills. I contacted the manager of the West Valley office to make arrangements and pay off my new loan. Up until now I never expected to be treated with such disrespect and arrogance when for the second time I asked to make a late payment due to not having the funds on the due date. I usually make my payments on time and a small request like this shouldn't be a big problem. The personnel at Gentry in West Valley city are not sufficiently trained to deal with customer service. When they request a payment over the phone, which is ridiculous if you are in good standing, they are never polite. Instead of being a friendly reminder to get you to make your payment, it's a message you wish you'd never receive. Don't endorse or recommend this place for your financial needs. If you need to go to one of these places, shop around and see how professional and courteous they are before you set foot in the front door.
