Just called for information regarding my financial aid offer. Waited for about 10-15 minutes and got someone who was informative and didn't mind answering some questions I had. Very helpful so far.

I'd give it a zero if I could. Half an hour waiting on hold and no sign of anyone answering soon. That's every call experience for me so far. What kind of call center is this? And in charge of financial aid.

In the previous two years that I have attended this university, I've had a pleasant experience with the financial aid office. Which is why I'm giving a generous, in my opinion, rating of two stars instead of one star. However, this semester has been an absolute disaster. I have continually received conflicting information from various staff about what was needed from me, what the estimated review completion times were, and what my alternate aid options were. I have went into the financial aid office three times, and I have spoken with someone on the phone four times. My aid review is still incomplete, and I have no idea if or when it will be resolved. The staff at this office needed to be adequately trained. Concrete answers should be given to students who are waiting for aid so that they can make the best decision moving forward regarding their education.

Frustrating experience, staff does not know their own procedures. Have been trying to fix problems with my financial aid since November 11th, 2017 to be ready for 2018. I’m a very thorough person and every time I would call to see what process my aid was in they would say they haven’t received so and so. I would go and do everything they told me and send it via email like the operator told me on the phone to find out they cannot take information from email. Which doesn’t make sense because they took some information through email and some things they would not, for example they would take a transcript from USU via email but not from DSU. They don’t know their own procedures and are in need of some serious need of training.

Overall a good experience, called twice in one day because it's my first semester handeling my financial aid on my own. The first person I dealt with was very friendly and knowledgeable, there was a 30 minute wait time but I guess that's what you get when it's a week before the semester. The second time I called I got a less friendly response but the agent was still knowledge, I'd be giving them five stars if it wasn't for her apparent apathy. Overall, very helpful.
