Story

Germain Motor Company, founded in 1947, is currently owned and operated by Bob Germain Jr., Steve Germain, and Rick Germain. Together, the Germain family owns and operates 17 dealerships representing 11 different manufacturers in Columbus, OH, Naples, FL, Sarasota, FL, Rogers, AK and Phoenix, AZ. The first of four Toyota franchises was awarded to the Germain family in 1968.

Had a great car buying experience at Germain Toyota of Naples! Thanks to our salesman Jessi Godoy we were able to make a big decision through an easy going process. He showed us multiple cars in our price range and was very patient when we wanted to test drive each one. Would definitely recommend to friends and family looking for a new or used car.

Though they lost some great team members who I respected and trusted, like Dondre in sales, Angie in service (she has since been invited back, and Brett in finance(behind the glass), when I got my new lease, Don McLean quickly earned my trust and respect as the anti-salesman salesman. He was honest, transparent and respectful of me, my timeline and my opinion. When I had 4 months left in my current lease, he respected that I was not motivated to buy until the lease was over, unless an impossible to resist deal became available. Germain lost a star in this review (maybe should have lost 2) because, while I had a respect-driven relationship with John who I knew had my back, I was harassed by 6 other people "working the client," two of which strongly implied that the impossible deal I was hoping for could, very well, be doable if I came in "today." Instead of wasting my time driving in, I immediately called John who cleared up the misconception for me, telling me that, no, the impossibly good deal had not materialized, saving me hours of my precious time. Some of these guys calling you, their only job is to get you in. If you come in, they get paid,whether they have to lie cheat or steal you time to do so. This gentleman even went so far as to schedule an appointment for me. When the gentleman with whom this appointment was made called me to confirm that appointment, he was surprised that I never agreed to that appointment. Another call was from a saleswoman working John's clients, hoping to steal his commission. I met John, I liked John, I wanted him to get the commission he earned. This lady's behavior was rude, dishonest and dirty. I will go back to Toyota when my lease is up in 3 years, IF John is still there, or if Angie can point me in the direction of an honest salesman.

Great for servicing. Decent waiting room. Courteous and professional service personnel. However, they do not vacuum and wash auto following service checkups ,as they do up north.

The service station has friendly and very accommodating staff. Cost for repairs not nearly as high as I thought it would be for a dealership. Very nice waiting area if you're staying until oil change is complete, etc. I was automatically given a loaner since my repairs would take longer, and was very happy with results. Will definitely go back again.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GERMAIN FOR SERVICE!!! Took our car in to have the service department inspect and correct a manufacture defect on the steering wheel. The service department guy claimed that lotion or some other chemical had caused the steering wheel leather to peal. We let them know that we don't use lotion but they wouldn't reconsider. We ended up taking our vehical to ft meyers after toyota said we could get a second opinion. We let them know up front what GERMAIN service department said and after a quick inspection they said that this is not the first time they have seen this issue and that it was clearly a manufacture defect. Problem solved but no thanks to Germain. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO GERMAIN FOR SERVICE!!!
