This dealership "Tamiami Hyundai" will try to take advantage of women. A woman, Diana, told me I needed new tires when I just got new tires last year at the O'Brien Hyundai. She did not even look at my tires. She was just trying to scare me into buying new tires based on my mileage and new brakes. Also, my brake lights and tail lights went out for no reason, and then another woman was in while I was there, because her tail lights and brake lights went out, too. We both had 2013 Hyundai's. Scam or not? Recall or not? I had to pay. This is not a coincidence. I'm on my 4th Hyundai and I'm super angry at the service at this dealership. They evidently think women are stupid. Beware when you go to this dealership. They will tell you need something every time and it's crucial. The use intimidating language to try and scare you into spending hundreds of dollars. They say they "have to tell you" because it could be dangerous. I've been driving for 38 years, half of those years in Michigan, and I know when I need new tires and brakes. Stop treating women like idiots or women will stop shopping at your dealership. You had 2 great associates, Yves and Oscar, I trusted them and I wish they still worked there. I wish I knew where they were because I would buy another car from Yves. I bought 4 cars from him.

Set up an appointment online 2 days ahead for a full synthetic oil change. Could not find the price online like I could all the other dealers, so called to get the price. Described the car & was given the price over the phone and it was the same as the other dealers that show their prices online. Waited 2 hours for the oil change as the dealership had no full synthetic & had to either have it delivered or ran to get some. I think I understand now why Tamiami doesn't post their prices online as the price out the door was 33% higher than the quote on the phone. You'll get a competitive price over the phone, but another one when you get to the cashier. I never received a satisfactory explanation or one that made any sense. Fool me once. . . .

I shopped three dealers and purchased two vehicles from Tamiami Hyundai. They were professional and honest. The other dealers didn't gain my trust. They have a beautiful facility and a large inventory. I enjoyed working with them. The G90 is terrific and is the best value in a luxury car. Nick

Poor Service experience: Well, for the good news, staff was genuinely kind. By all means the particular associate in charge of my car was nice from start to finish for the most part. HOWEVER, when it came down to me checking in and calling on the status of my car (called EVERYDAY to make sure it was on the fast track due to insurance claim) i was forwarded to voicemail multiple times and not called back in the most timely manner. Then when returned a call I was told that it was all taken care of and that they were working as fast as they could due to staff either not getting to it by the end of their shift or another staff member was on vacation. That's HORRIBLE. Get enough staff not just one person per section of the dealership which it appeared like that was what they did. Either way, I was still patient and trying be understanding of the current low staffing situation. Next, on top of being told that they "had it under control" with my insurance, I receive a call from the car rental (suppose to be covered by insurance) that my rental was only covered till a certain date and they had called the dealer to notify or get an update on my car in the shop(when I FINALLY receive a call it was a week after date the insurance said they would cover rental). Now, I'll give the dealer half the blame because I was given a time and date that the rental had called the dealer and the associate declined having Recieved the call, which to me sounded like a lie since I had a date and time, or if someone else had received the call on the associates behalf, they should have passed the message. The other half the blame is the rental for not also communicating with me in a timely manner as to when my rental was up they should have called me when they called the dealer. I could have found other means to travel. Anyways, I contacted insurance multiple times to try and clear up that situation which in turn boiled down to the dealership FAILING to communicate with my insurance as to 1) why it took longer than the expected date of completion 2) why they hadn't updated them as to what they were doing to my car 3) why they had labor hours charged incorrectly/ unapproved by insurance!! So, this whole problem could have simply been avoided if this said associate had not failed to communicate with both me and my insurance. I was just given the excuse that the said associate was under the impression that the supplemental estimate that my insurance needed, the associate thought would be easy and could be done the day of completion of my car!! NO!! Insurance needed at least 24 hours AT LEAST 24 hours to process the claim. So, all in all my car was complete, the associate blew off taking the insurance portion seriously and planning ahead and I had to wait four days after my car was done for my insurance claim to be processed to finally get my car. And unfortunately, it was raining when I went out with the associate to get my car and did not get to fully inspect it due to that. (My error) it was "detailed". A few days after, I opened my trunk to see sand in my trunk just how it was before a "detail"!! So they skipped detailing that. AWFUL. And the front had a few spots I later noticed that were also either missed or just skipped on cleaning. In conclusion, my experience there was not at all how I expected. When you need something serious done, DO NOT GO HERE for your vehicle. If you want to get an oil change( which is what I used to do before I brought my car in for this situation) go for it! They can't screw that up its pretty simple. But after this experience, I will not find myself back here again for anything. I will go to a different dealer or car repair shop for anything I will need in the future. Fortunately, I will give two stars because staff were fairly kind but still felt like this whole situation was handled incorrectly.

The dealership is pristine, polished and precise. Just recently purchased a Dodge Challenger that I found on Carfax listed for $23,900. The listed price on the lot was $29,900, I showed them the Carfax price listed and they honered it no questions asked. Very professional, would recommend this dealer to anyone in southwest Florida.
