Combination botanical garden and child centered theme park. Very beautiful nature setting and just right sized. Rides and activities perfect for single digit aged children. Like any amusement park food is expensive and not too healthy so eat before and after your visit and bring some nutritious snacks for the kids (outside food is not allowed except for "baby food" and required kids food).

Love it! Went to the Illumination Event as well as the park with our season passes (which was a great deal). Definitely A great family friendly place. Recommended for ALL!!

Was awesome. We had a great time doing all the rides and spending time with a bunch of family. All of it was good.

We are fortunate to have this so close to home. As others have stated, this is suited for 6ish and under crowd. I think older kids would get bored fast. The season pass is recommended if you plan to visit frequently. The rides are kid appropriate and my daughter loves the carousel, train, air balloon and the fish rides the most. There are 2 water parks, old and new. While the new one is flashy, it's also over crowded. And it tends to leave the old one very uncrowded and more than enough water and fun for an hour or 2. Walking the entire grounds will give you enough variety with out making you feel like you spent the whole day on your feet. Just like ANY entertainment park, prices are high for entrance, parking, food and souvenirs. Stop at Safeway or Nob Hill on your way through town and pack your own lunch for the parking lot. Or if you live close enough with a season and parking pass, go home for lunch and a nap then go back for more. In addition, we've seen the Christmas lights and the Illumination event. I'll pass on ever seeing Christmas lights again but the illumination event was wonderful and I would go back for it with the family.

Insanely overpriced! During Christmas time they have a lights display, but you have to leave and come back for it- they won't let you stay in the park- and it's a separate added cost. The rides are very junior, much more junior than Disneyland. This place is geared for tykes, so be forewarned if you're expecting Great America. The food seems to be getting better, so that's a plus.
