So much fun, all in one place. We go at least twice every summer and we all have so much fun. Rides, shopping, the beach, food, arcade games, bowling, mini golf...this is a one stop shop for California summer fun. Santa Cruz is also full of other great adventures so we stay a few days and try to experience it all. If we could only take one summer vacation, this would definitely be it.

This is such an awesome place, so glad we went out of our way to include it on our trip. It reminds me a lot of the boardwalk at Disney's California Adventure, but it’s a real boardwalk! So many cool little souvenir shops and food vendors that you could spend quite a bit of time walking around without even going on any of the rides. There is a lot of fair type food like deep fried twinkies, corn dogs, and funnel cake. Overall a really fun experience that I’d highly recommend, and I can’t forget to mention that entry is FREE!

Super fun, and they have awesome arcades, and the giant dipper never gets old! Love the old school decor and feel, it's inviting! There always bringing back great old school rides and new ones as well, prices some years are better then others, sometimes they get to close to that of universal studios and great America, it's not that kind of park, it's a bit smaller and more homely feeling, and small town amusement park!:)

This is the Boardwalk that personifies "California" for me. Built in 1907, this place has managed to retain a lot of the flavor of that era at least in architecture. Video games of every variety fill the original dance hall and Deep Fried Oreos are a staple out on the Boardwalk. The rides are of the old school variety. Special concerts and "drive-in movies" take place on the beach throughout the summer.

This place is all beach town. Some famous surf shops here as well. Note also the heavy police presence. However outside of the boardwalk it's kind of a rough looking place. Just be street smart and you'll do fine. Meaning don't be flashy with your cash, know who and what is going on around you and keep your wallet and phone in your pockets.
