My family checked into the Owensboro Motel6 because my mother was having surgery at the local hospital. We chose this motel because it would accept our two dogs. We lad down to sleep and huge amounts of cigarette smoke was coming into our room. The adjoining room had multiple smokers.  I called the front desk to have them check on it, and heard the phone ring next door. But the smoke continued until 2 am.

I had to leave quickly the next morning to meet my parents--but I will be requesting a complete refund when I can call customer service.

Do not advertise your motel as non-smoking or give customers non-smoking rooms when you will allow it in adjoining rooms.  I have extreme allergies and antincipated a smoke free environment.  Every sign around your motel said that is what it was.  That is not the rooms we were given.

The location is right on the main drag so it's easy to get to.  Front desk staff was pleasant.   Room was quite comfortable. Price was ok.

The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. There were a lot of stains on the carpet, comforter, and sheets. It looked like it was a live-in motel. The only good thing about it is the location. It was a really cheap military rate, but not worth it. It needs to have new management and a complete remodel done!

I've stayed at several motel 6s with no problem. I will pay extra to stay at a different motel while in owensboro. 
The beds caused body pains in me,my husband and son. You have to pay for WiFi? That makes no sense at all. I used my data so not too much of an issue. TVs  are ancient , not HD. 
Cannot get extra towels. You will have to give dirty ones in exchange for clean. These towels are small and thin so I don't understand the reason for this. If someone steals them then they deserve them. No coffee pot. 
The price is cheap but not worth it,even for a quick rest due to the beds being so hard. Worst motel experience  ever.

They allow pets with no extra charge, let us check in early and moved us rooms when something wasn't right with the first one. Very affordable, nothing extravagant by any means, but it's better than staying at the in-laws! Lol!
