Story

The Ginkgo Tree Inn is under new management! Gourmet Chef, Pete Lieber brings over thirty-five years of hospitality and culinary excellence to you and your family.

Make yourself at home and stay in one of our ten amazing rooms! Each of our clean and spacious rooms offers something unique, so whether you are staying for a night on business, planning a romantic getaway with your special someone, or you are on vacation with your whole family, we have accommodations that work for you!

Adelaide's Bistro is now open every weekday for lunch between 10:30am and 2:00pm to make your lunch break the best part of the day! Our new menu includes a rotating assortment of fresh salads, homemade soups, delectable sandwiches, and more! Eat in or carry out!

After a long workday we offer gourmet Take-&-Bake dinner services. Every week we offer something a little different, including fresh salmon, chicken, pot roast, and pot pies. Let us do the cooking for you! Our Take-&-Bake dinner service starts at 4:00pm and ends at 7:00pm.

If you have an event or are in need of a caterer, Chef Pete will load up The Cruisin' Chef Food Truck and personally cater your event! More information to come!

I recently stayed at the beautiful, quaint Ginkgo Tree Inn with a few girlfriends and we had WONDERFUL time! The rooms are all very well appointed and beyond cozy. The owners and staff are professional, friendly and are fun to get to know. The breakfast in the morning was such a nice touch in the cozy bistro restaurant. They even cater to vegetarian and vegans! A major plus. The location couldn't be any better as it is in walking distance to the downtown and beautiful parks of Mt Pleasant. I've been raving to all my friends and family about the Ginkgko Tree Inn every since I got home and hope to return again in the warmer months to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor setting. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. The bottle of wine and cheese platter were the icing on the cake!

Where should I start...let's start with our ORIGINAL stay at the Ginkgo Tree. We stayed there after stumbling upon it 4 years ago when the previous owner "Jean" owned it. It was absolutely amazing! The way she made us feel as soon as we walked in, the tour we got of the place, shown our room amongst other rooms. She was SO hospitable is was absolutely unbelievable. I think that she was what made that stay so spectacular. She gave us options on where to go for entertainment put two pieces of cake with a rose on a silver platter on our bed upon return from our evening. It was just an all around unreal experience. Then there was our stay last Saturday 😔. I called two days prior to staying there and asked for the old owner assuming she still owned it, she didn't. Was told our experience would match or surpass the one we had 4 years ago, had I know what we where in for I would have NEVER booked that room!! Never. Upon being tossed our keys we found our room ourselves then my wife went down to the dining room to experience this "amazing Bucks Run chef" we were told about. She was told they where booked up but she could possibly put her in the corner and there my wife sat until my return of unloading the car. She got up told me we are NOT eating here and so we left after she told me how she was treated. Passed the "owner" upstairs in the hallway she said not a word to us, in fact who knows if she was the owner as there was not an introduction to anyone period. Upon our return from the evening we returned to an empty room. No anything on the bed. Then to top it off, heavy metal music played on the radio. INSIDE the Inn ALL NIGHT LONG. It wasn't like it was soft rock or even if it had been the volume was up to loud and I asked my wife is that the music playing inside and she said no must be a party up the street so I went down stairs and sure enough it was in the B&B. Listen, if your gonna try and sell your establishment as the Ginkgo Tree Inn, at least try and rise to where it used to be when it was previously owned. It is being ran like a restaurant with a couple rooms up top if your tired type place. It should NO LONGER be aloud to be called the Ginkgo Tree Inn because it is no longer the Ginkgo Tree Inn. It should now be called the "Bucks Run Cafe" with a room to stay. Thank you for the disappointment and thank you for ruining what we thought of that place. And also thank you to the lady at the desk in the morning that after being told about our experience was like "aww I'm sorry have a nice day" what a Damn disgrace! 10 thumbs down from us!!!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 If you ever stayed there before you KNOW what I'm talking about.

Allana the owner is amazing. Will go above and beyond to cater your needs. Rooms are so beautiful and have a vintage feel to them. Very beautiful location to have a wedding ceremony.

Very nice spot for lunch dinner or Party. Five star chef. It is a bed and breakfast very nice.

Great food, chef/owner came out to great us, thank us for coming in and check on the quality of our food. Would definitely recommend!
