Free breakfast was very misleading.. it was individual packages muffins and maybe 2 kinda of cereal and coffee.. the bathroom was very small and outdated with cracked and broken tiles in the wall.. it hadn't been swept bc there was a disposable razor cover on the floor when we got there.. the only thing that I really liked was the king size bed.. it was very comfortable and clean. Much like mine at home.. unless you are only staying here for a night or 2 I don't recommend it.

I was very nervous to stay here based on some of the poor reviews. I stayed for two nights in November. The employee at the desk was friendly, efficient, professional, and made the effort to help me. She was very kind to the man in front of me, too. My room was clean (clean sheets, clean floor, clean bathroom). The shower was very clean. Refrigerator and microwave worked great. Noise level was minimal. No bugs. If I have to go to Charleston again, I will definitely stay here. It's in a safe area. There's a Whole Foods, Starbucks, Harris Teeter all within a minute drive, so it made it convenient.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was located a short drive away from local attractions, easy to find, and very quiet. I felt safe at this location and the grounds were well kept. The price for the four nights was very affordable and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charleston or a surrounding city.
