We were at Giovani's last year, and liked it so we returned this year - what a disappointment! The service was very slow, and inattentive. It took ages to get water and rolls and after almost 45 minutes our meals came. They were very mediocre. The waitress told us that the restaurant is being sold - there is obviously no attempt to keep a professional and pleasant standard. Avoid this place! 5 m

Whatever you do don't order from here. They won't fulfill the order. It's nice when you order food for lunch for you and a co-worker and over a half hour after ordering you get a call that they charged your card already but are suddenly light on delivery drivers. I'd like to say I can rate this place on their food but I can't. This is a restaurant that fails to accomplish the core fundamental of a restaurant: Feed their paying customer.

We went to Giovanni's not knowing what to expect. The food was wonderful and the entertainment great.I felt I was in a family run restaurant in Italy. Will definitely go back soon.

When you go to Giovanni you always feel like family. Andre is really coming into his own as a chef and John the owner is always entertaining when singing. A great time and moderate prices make this a place to frequent.

Got my first pizza here last evening (carry out, ordered right there since I was in the area). The crust really was something different and better than other places. Hard to describe, but a very clean, dry crust, and an excellent pizza. Before walked in to order the pizza I asked an older couple coming out if it was typical Pompano Beach quality, or if the place was good - they both gave me glowing reviews of the place, so I went in to order. I will be trying them again for dinner soon.
