I had no idea that this was in San Francisco but super glad my wife found out about it. We went to the Walt Disney museum and that was well worth it. Seeing all he did in his life and hearing him tell the stories was incredible. We also walked to the Lucas arts office to see the Yoda water fountain and all the movie stuff they have on display (the kids and I liked that way to much). This place also has a great view of the golden gate bridge. Well worth spending a day walking around learning about the area and the tunnel tops area.

Great views. Not crowded. I don't officially know if dogs are allowed but, yesterday there were many of them all playing and enjoying the beach. The beach is a nice but coarse sand. Closer to the water the sand turns to small, smooth stones... a bit hard to walkon.

Hiked to Tennessee Beach. The trail started off paved and changed to dirt road. There was also a single track alternative for a portion of the trail. There seemed to be a good network of trails heading other places. I want to come back and explore. Encountered numerous runners, hikers, cyclists and even a couple of campers.

Easy stroll through the park uphill and I got one of the most gorgeous view of Golden Gate and the bay. Really windy and chilly, even on a sunny day so make sure you bring a jacket. I saw cyclists struggling to go up slope with their rentals so be warned.

One of the best and most beautiful areas in the world! Historic. Naturally breathtakingly lovely. Much to see and discover. A truly awesome place to see and to "be" -- Spend a lifetime here or come for a visit. Experience as much as possible of the GGNRA for yourself!
