My law firm has stored closed files off-site at Granite City for years. They will come to our office to collect boxes to bring to storage or pull boxes from storage and deliver them to our office promptly. I have also rented storage lockers at the facility. It has a secure gate requiring a pass code for entry. The area is fairly well lit for security purposes. The lockers have also always been clean and secure from the elements. I haven't done an exhaustive study, but in my experience, Granite City's rates are competitive with other storage facilities in the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They paid special attention to the late start due to my work schedule. The crew that did our move were friendly, fast and especially careful with our more fragile pieces!

My wife and I (and our two girls) recently moved from the northern-most part of Sartell to the southern-most part of Sartell. We were planning to just rent a Penske truck from Granite City Moving and Storage and do the move ourselves since it was basically across town. A couple weeks before our move, I swung in to discuss the size of truck we might need, when we would need it, get boxes, etc. The staff (Kermit) was very friendly and knowledgeable, and shared a lot of helpful tips when loading and unloading furniture, etc. The more tips he shared, the more I realized moving from one house to another, even across town, might be a little more than my wife and I wanted to take on. We discussed rates which seemed surprisingly fair, and long story short, we decided to have them do the move for us, and WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! The day of the move, they showed up on time, were very careful with the maneuvering of their truck into our driveway near the garage, and were careful with ramp placement, etc. The thing that impressed me the very most, which at times I even felt bad for, the movers showed such care with EVERY piece that was being loaded and stacked! Packing blankets were use to protect pieces that honestly had little monetary value whatsoever. It's like they treated every piece as if it were a valuable antique. VERY HAPPY with our experience with Kermit, and the rest of the team at Granite City Moving & Storage, and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!!

I've had them move pianos for us several times, and they do a good job. They are my go-to movers in the area!
