Story

Great Lakes Pet Emergencies provides full service emergency and critical care for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small mammals every night, weekend and holiday, 365 days a year. Our staff and doctors understand the important relationship you and your pet share with your family veterinarian and believe in working as a team with your veterinarian to provide continuity of care for your pet. We will always keep your family veterinarian updated on your pet’s progress and made aware of all diagnostic findings. We believe that by working closely with our referring veterinarians, we are able to create a team of medical professionals providing our patients with the best possible medical care.

Whatever you do. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! All they care about is your money! I went there after banking hours and had only 500.00 available at that time. total bill was 1113.00 and they were going to keep my dog over night. so i said here is 500 and the minute the banks open in the morning i will bring the rest and pick up my dog. they absolutely refused to do so. I mean come on! you have my dog and i will be back to get her. they said no money no service. very rude! nothing but a money grab at this place. sad to say but i will let my dog suffer before i ever walk thru them doors again. also everything is dbl the price. my normal vet the next day did the surgery for 2000 less. consider yourself warned! the total bill with them after surgery would have been 3600.00.

We took our 12 year old lab mix in for a broken foot on a Saturday morning. Staff was very friendly and accommodating on the phone, and they were even waiting for my husband at the door when he arrived. The doctor was very kind and thorough. They forwarded the records to our regular vet for a follow up visit and further treatment, and they even carried our dog out the car after treating her. We had a very positive experience and could not have asked for anything more.

❤️ Dr. Matthew Bullock and his kind and compassionate staff. I had brought in my Yorkie Dylan for care on June 23 and 24th, 2017. I couldn't have asked for any better care and treatment. Dr. Bullock is very thorough and his bed side manner cannot be beat! Thanks to him it made this difficult time much easier to accept.

We had to take our dog in to the clinic and was leery to go there because of what I heard about them. The staff were amazing! They were very kind, caring and considerate. Unfortunately Milo did not make it but the staff was sweet enough to send us a very nice sympathy card. I wouldn't hesitate to take my pets here.

Absolutely a WRETCHED place with heartless people working there. All they care about is money. I've never encountered such heartless, soulless people working with animals before. The sight of their name sickens me. I had a horrible experience a few short years ago. I noticed they blocked me on Facebook, because I wrote the truth. Don't be fooled by them. I'm not the only one with a bad experience. There are other bad reviews. Go anywhere else. STEER CLEAR AWAY from them.
