We cook BBQ everyday. We offer a large variety of fresh meat, seafood, deli, produce, and have a catering department that offers self-service and full-service catering. Beer and Wine in our outdoor patio coming June 12.

The place was OK for the 1st night being opened food was not the best but not the worst I kind of expected more from the opening. But that doesn't mean next time won't be better . this was the 1st day of 1st soft opening.  It took about 30 minutes for the food to get brought to us for take out order hopefully the speed will improve next time

Food was excellent. Still working out the new restaurant kinks but it's getting there. Tri-tip Philly cheese steak was incredible beans were incredible wings were great.

Brand new place lots of potential. Still got kinks to workout.

Sunday Lunch

Pros
Everyone was agreeable and happy and cooperative.
About 20 beers on tap, looks great.
Food took about 6mins to arrive.
Had meals compensated without a question.

Cons
Ordering took a long time because 1 register open, to help control kitchen overflow but left us standing uncomfortably long, received apologies but still 
My TriTip was very rare as opposed to medium like the usual outdoor grill.
Wife's chicken was very rare and almost uncooked inside, sent back and recooked no problems there.
Sons burger had a hair on the plate.
Daughter with dairy allergy left with mouth tingling.

Will check back soon because of the existing Sterling reputation of Green Acres, it shouldn't stay like that for long.

This was my 2nd visit. I has the tri tip sandwich. The sandwich had a generous  serving of meat but was very dry. The roll tasted like it was rye and that just overpowered the sandwich and BBQ sauce.  I don't think I would order this again. The side of baked beans was from a can. My son had the hamburger and it was delicious.  The market itself is excellent. The produce is fresh and crisp and the butchered meat looks amazing.

Very nice new restraunt addition to Simi Valley. Good food, service and seating. A little expensive  for what you get
