Sister restaurant of renowned Beto's Italian Bistro in Simi Valley California, Chef Owner Gilbert Rangel is offering a new style on serving authentic Mexican dishes from his youth memories.

Exceptional Mexican Style Food! Taste exactly how Mexican food should taste like. Great atmosphere and beautiful host and staff! Maria sure loves her customers, it felt like being back at my grandmas house. I highly recommend this place my husband and I loved it! Go say hi to Maria!

I know I'm a very positive...glass half-full type of guy & I give a lot of 5 star reviews but I wish I could give 10 stars to Maria's today for their breakfast. 

They have what I normally expect: 
Clean place, friendly service but What really took me over the top was their FRENCH TOAST!! Wow it's literally been years trying French Toast from many places and now I feel the search is over. It's very delicious!! Using their syrup is ok. Once I asked for honey and poured it over the French toast I was in heaven. 

The omelettes are good too but they are huge! I highly recommend splitting one up with a friend. I tried the vegetarian omelette and it was filled with fresh ingredients. 
 
As I mentioned earlier, their service is great! They greeted us promptly, kept topping off our coffee and were consistently friendly and pleasant at every point.  

The place gets crowded after 9 so arrive earlier to avoid waiting in line. Outdoor seating is available too. 

If you're going for lunch, try their tacos al pastor!!
For dessert, their Pudding bread with vanilla ice cream is delicious!

Good food, many servers, small space but enlarging, large portions.  Real Mexican flare to meals.  Only minus is the coffee could be better.

If you have not eaten here you're missing out , food and drinks are awesome. Stop by for the taco Tuesday, you will have no regrets.

Friendly attentive staff. My fish tacos were good but a little too salty for me, but still delicious. Good salsa. Didn't try the margaritas this visit but intend to come again. We all enjoyed our meals. Gread mexican fare in Simi Valley by same folks that run Beto's (italian).
