Ms Donna, and Dan share something very special in this place. When I first camped in the summer of 2013, I was a stranger to Green Valley. It operated as a campground only through word of mouth from other campers. With the recent construction it has left their place with less trees and more traffic but, to no detriment, now Ms Donna so graciously calls Green Valley a “lighthouse for everyone to see,” holding onto the the charm of the community. Donna and Dan foster something more than just a campground–they harbor people into their home. There is an abundance of firewood for each campsite and bathrooms easily accessible from each site. It is a treasure of a place for rock climbers, families and vagabonds! If you’re willing to stay the extra minute, let the community of people here share in life with you and pop a squat with Ms Donna. With this, I promise you, you’ll come out leaving this place from strangers–to friends.

new campground so it's still under construction, that's probably worth 5 stars now. Super nice hosts, nice green quiet place. Not all spots are leveled so a normal rig can set in easily. Check there's an "easy" spot accessible or you've to come with your own crane... :/

Donna and Dan treat you like family. Nice shaded sites, RV and tent camping, pond, seasoned wood, grassy areas, farm animals for families and good space between campsites for the adults. Hwy 12 expansion took a toll on their patience, but their spirit remains positive and strong. Try them any Season!
