My parents stayed the night here and to the best of my knowledge, enjoyed the evening. The house, itself, is beautiful. The couple who own and run it were wonderful and invites my wife and I to join my parents for breakfast. Breakfast was not a typical eggs and pancakes for us. We had roasted cauliflower and asparagus, potatoes and sausage, and chapati, as well as a carrots and raisins "dessert". All were delicious. Note: if you're sensitive to smells, especially those of curries, this might not be the best place to stay.

Rachel runs a wonderful bed & breakfast that allows weary travelers or those staying in Greensboro to stretch out. The rooms are all delightful and the bathrooms have old fashioned charm. Rachel is such a sunny person without hovering that you can't help but be in a good mood. The guest rooms are upstairs and there is a sitting room with a television and small kitchen off the side with bottled water, soft drinks and snacks. I loved that as a great "tie over" while staying there for several days and having to go out for late dinners. It is located within walking distance of downtown and overlooks one of the prettiest parks there is -- especially in the spring with all the azalias and dogwoods. We took an hour and a half walk one afternoon and saw spectacular neighborhoods and delightful gardens everywhere.
