My husband and I decided to try something new last night, and picked Greystone. So glad we did! The parking lot was full, so I was expecting a very long wait, but we got right in (even though the place was pretty packed), received wonderful service, and had an excellent meal. We were pleased with the draft beer selections - I had a Christmas ale, he had a pumpkin ale. The meatballs were an absolutely delicious starter, and both our meals (short rib grilled cheese and winter squash/red lentil veggie burger) were excellent. (My leftover half of the veggie burger also warmed up beautifully for lunch today.) We finished with the salted turtle mousse, which was phenomenal. Very pleased and will venture back!

Every thing here is top quality. The chef is amazing. From the cheddar chive biscuits with maple butter to the entrees (we had the elk and boar sausage), and the dessert-- this restaurant exceeds all expectations. You must dine here!

Beautiful decor, excellent ambiance, good menu but somewhat pricey. Great dinner date place. One of the nicest restaurants on the east side of the Susquehanna.

I had about a tablespoon of short rib, if that, which was actually shredded dried out beef. I was not the person paying for it, but this was ridiculous. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

First this place is truly lovely. The atmosphere and the ambience really impressed us. The staff was friendly and attentive and the server even remembered to bring extra dressing for me. The food though was just not good. We both really wanted to like this place and I hate leaving less than perfect reviews but the food has some issues. The biscuit we started with was dry, hard, and cold. Thinking this was intentional we moved on. Had the tuna and cheese plate next. Again pretty underwhelming. The tuna wasn't really fresh. Not terrible but not good. The cheese plate was literally two wedges of cheese and a few slices of meat. We shared a salad that was pretty good. For entrees I had the scallops and my husband had the beef. The portion size was okay but both dishes lacked seasoning. The grits with mine were thick, undercooked, and bland. The mashed potatoes were also not seasoned and not really warm. The beef was dry. The scallops were seasoned but very small. We had coffee and lemon tart to share. Coffee was not hot enough to handle cream and the tart was more whipped cream than lemon tart. Sadly for the price it just wasn't worth it.
