Susan Guentzel has been my primary physician for over 20 years. I first came to her after suffering for years with rapid heartbeat, sweating profusely, anxiety, and tremors in my hands. Before I came to her, I had spent thousands of dollars, hundreds of hours and at least nine visits to other doctors to no avail. I walked into Susan's office, she came in the exam room, interviewed me, and sent me to have blood work done specific to the thyroid. She diagnosed Graves Disease and put me on medication for a year. I was fortunate that the Graves Disease went into remission. During the past twenty years, Susan has treated me for depression, ILC breast cancer, broken patella, and the "getting old isn't for sissies" process of aging. She has helped me financially by giving me samples, accepting Medicaid, and written off my debt to her. Dr. Guentzel is the very best of human beings. She has the very best staff that are like family to me. And finally, I am eternally grateful for Dr. Guentzel's medical expertise and treatment (which includes treating me as a real person, not a number), her kindness, her humor, and her honesty.
