John is a great guy, and has been very helpful in promoting my business, The Screaming Goat Taqueria in the Gulf Gate neighborhood of Sarasota.  He truly wants to see my business succeed, as well as the rest of this very cool little neighborhood.  He visits my restaurant so that he has a good understanding of what my concept is about.  He is also terrific at helping to share and promote me on social media.  Anyone who owns a business in Gulf Gate should reach out to him...he will be one of your biggest allies!

The directory for the businesses was a little challenging to find. The parking lot is in dire need of repair. The parking lot for the shopping centers is extremely narrow. It's kind of frustrating because of parking especially because businesses there are so good! They've got just about anything that you need with excellent restaurants, coffee shops, retail clothing, and dry cleaning. There are quite a lot of businesses. It's located right behind the mall. There are several businesses that have Awards for outstanding service and accomplishments. Typically all the business owners and staff in the Gulf Gate District are usually very friendly and hospitable because of the fact that they are not highly-publicized from US 41. So they go above and beyond to earn your business so you will come back! Two of my personal favorite  businesses are Sarasota Brewing Company and Bob's dry cleaning.

An awesome website listing all the merchants of Gulf Gate. The only negative is some merchants prefer a blank page rather than one giving information about their business.
