Story

You'll have no trouble losing your cares at this KOA-and will soon understand why so many come and never want to leave. Located on beautiful Perdido Bay, this is a true waterfront campground. You'll hear nature all around, from birds to waves lapping on the shoreline. Sunrises are breathtaking, and dolphins often swim by the lighted fishing pier. Fish from the pier as well-or bring your boat. Ease into a long pull thru, Super Site or water-view site. Stay in a waterfront or hillside air-conditioned Cabin, a water-view Lodge or a poolside deluxe Cottage. Swim in the solar-heated saltwater pool or relax in the hot tub. Enjoy the rec room and organized activities. Fido will love the doggie playground. This KOA now offers on-site roof repairs and has a brand-new day spa!

Seems like one person at the desk doesnt know what another one is doing. Went and checked this place out a week ago. Seems like they cater more to permanent guests that the gate of other ones. We used to spend summers there as kids. I wonnt be back. The staff have ZERO care for weekend guests. Nice place if you live there full time i guess. Too bad.....used to be a great family place. Times have changed.

We just got back to Kentucky after staying five nights there at the KOA. It was one of the best camping experiences we've had in a long while. The staff was very welcoming, the showers were immaculate, cable TV was free, we had on site sewage (no dumping the tanks later), and the kids loved the crystal clear pool. The only downfall is that it's a little out of the way if Gulf Shores is your daily destination for beach fun. We definitely recommend it for camping!

Stayed hear many many times. Pros they usually have an opening. And the cost is affordable compared to others. Cons, Customer service has been lacking at this place while we were there over 6 times you can just for get it they did not go to the school of May I help you please and mean it. There cabins are ok but have seen lots better. Bath house and restroom at the bay side is open and always full of bugs and in the summer no air so you sweet while you take a bath and if you open your mouth you get dinner. It's simple if you want to go on vacation and have limited funds this place and will do and the kids will love it. But it's by far no dream vacation spot. But vacation is what you make of it and we all ways enjoy ours. Stayed hear many of times. And will stay again.

We stayed there for almost a month. The nicest staff! The place was amazing! Beautiful everything. The campers were awesome as well. Very clean, helpful. and friendly. We highly recommend KOA in Lillian, AL. Lanette, Tina, Mikey and everyone else that was part of the KOA team was WONDERFUL! We will be staying again!!
