Great location right on the beach. The showers we're good, and we went swimming first thing in the morning and saw a pod of dolphins. Also made our way down to the fort for a tour. There's a lot to do here!

This campground is beautiful, easy to navigate, and full of adventures. The beach is windy but one of the most beautiful and quiet places we've camped in a year of living outdoors and in public places. The main drawback: we experienced aggressive enforcement of rules that we learned later were very new, and the regular locals we chatted with said that every time they return, it seems new rules are introduced. Overall the rules seem to be favoring the preferences of wealthy visitors over the realities of most camping groups, such as no hanging clothes and swimsuits to dry, no teardrop or basic trailers being used in the no-hookups sites, etc.

We love coming here. Sand is so white and fine. Water is emerald green. Campground is beautiful and there's plenty of green space between sites. You are within walking distance to step into history at Ft. Pickens.

Perfect for any camper. Beach on one side and bay on other side. Not touristy. Bike riding and walking awesome.

Want that isolated camping feeling but want a beach bar and restaurant 15 minutes away? This is you're spot. The nature lover in you can explore the island, while the city livers can get to the Boardwalk and Casino Beach for a good time!
