Lovely little spot in downtown Macon. Have only had their breakfast options, but they are delicious. I had their variation of chicken and waffles and was not disappointed. Their parfaits are also AMAZING! Love that extra serving of honey! If you're looking for a large variety of options, this is probably not the spot for you as their menu is kinda limited. Interior is also "cozy" and is typically crowded during popular breakfast and lunch times. Definitely not a fancy place but if you're looking for a local community favorite with southern comfort food on the menu this is the spot to hit.

Good, basic soul food. The biscuits are to die for, the chicken and waffles underwhelming, the service enthusiastic and cheerful if very random. They could have done SO much to make this a destination. It is just a rather worn down diner with cool Allman Brothers memorabilia on the walls. Odd, there are no H&H souvenirs available. I wanted the coffee cup on the website.

First time eating here. Service is attentive and food is Excellent. No cafeteria food here, down home southern cooking. The fried chicken, beef brisket, mac n cheese, collards and fried okra all YUM! Highly recommend when in Macon.

Still good but they used to fry the chicken to order and it was very juicy. My chicken today have been fried a couple hours ago and still had great flavor but was dry, collard greens and mac and cheese excellent as always.

Loved the fried chicken! Real cream gravy and the collard greens were delicious! Drew was very knowledgeable and entertaining. What a great visit! Worth the drive from Texas!
