Balayage coloring and the cut was done on a highly artistic level. Surprising individual approach to the specifics of hair and complection. Their stylists can easily compete with any high end salons.

I should have posted this review a long time ago. But when I lived in VA, I used to always go to this Hair Cuttery for years and would get my hair done by either Joann or Alganesh. One day, I make an appointment with Alganesh for a hair relaxer. After she had applied the hair relaxer to my hair and washed it out I knew something was wrong. As she combs through my hair, it was coming out in large clumps. I was starting to feel a little panicked, but thought everything would still turn out nice in the end since I had gone to her for so long. After she blow dries my hair, it did come out nice and I felt relieved that I had worried for nothing. Fast forward a few days later. My boyfriend tells me that the back of my hair is uneven. He takes pictures of the back of my head so I can see and sure enough my hair was drastically uneven and it was due to the hair that had fallen out during my hair relaxer (I believe that it fell out because Alganesh left the hair relaxer on my scalp for too long). I was so upset, I almost cried. My hair before the horrid relaxer, was well past my shoulders. I understand that sometimes things can go wrong, especially with hair relaxers. My problem however, was with Alganesh. She obviously saw the back of my head the whole time. She could have fixed my hair, by cutting it and making everything even. But instead she says nothing and lets me walk around looking terrible. I had to later get it cut so that it was even, but that was such a terrible experience for me. It took me such a long time to grow my hair to that length and to have it all taken away was heartbreaking. Also, dealing with Alganesh, she is not the most professional hair stylist. She was constantly over booking clients. It was not usual to sometimes wait for Alganesh for an hour, even though you had an appointment. I wanted to post this review to let other people know to be careful of Alganesh if you consider letting her do your hair.

Convienent location for me but I've had enough. The stylists there are too inconsistent with the cuts and more and more they employ stylists there who have never cut hair before.
