Hair Fairies New York lice treatment salon is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan near Bryant Park, on 6th Avenue between 38th & 39th street.

We opened our salon in 2004, and are now the trusted brand for head lice removal and prevention in NYC.
Life is busy in Manhattan! But head lice can put a roadblock in your plans. Hair Fairies offers you a one-stop shop, with a safe and effective treatment, using our own natural head lice removal products and methods, plus the added convenience of haircuts! Or, if you prefer, we can send out our mobile service to you ASAP. Our salon is easy to reach via car or public transit from all surrounding areas, including Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey, Staten Island, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.

While the staff is very helpful and kind, the prices are too high for the service. Cheaper to go through independent contractors who also guarantee their work at a fraction of the cost and come to your home.

Woke up one morning to the unpleasant realization we had 2 family members infected with head lice.  Called Hair Fairies and they took us right away!  Margie & Alyissa were our technicians and they could not have been more pleasant or professional.  We were there about 4 hours while they combed, combed, combed the lice away.  Was it cheap?  No, but you get what you pay for and this is lice, people.  We have follow up visits scheduled and we have all the products they sell.  They also give lots of good advice and printed sheets with thorough instructions.  Also, if all your family members come for a screening, they guarantee their work.

My first treatment was thorough and I was immediately put at ease by the amazing Deniseia after arriving in a panic.  I have long hair and picked up the buggers from my toddler when she brought them home from school. The length and thickness of my hair was just too much for me or my husband to go through- so happy to have found a place where a professional with experience in lice and nit removal can treat my head.  Great , natural, safe and easy to use products to bring home for preventive treatments and for me and my family.

I could not be more grateful to Margie and Denisa. When I realized I had lice, I was completely freaked out and expected a never-ending battle that would require huge amounts of work and time spent on my part, but Hair Fairies was literally a life-saver. The ambiance of the salon is calming, tasteful, and actually relaxing, as are the attitudes of the practitioners. Both Margie and Denisa were incredibly knowledgeable, kind, sympathetic, and SO thorough. I could not have been in better hands. I will absolutely be recommending Hair Fairies to everyone who needs lice removal. It couldn't be a better service.

Margie, the Manager at Hairfairies, did an informative Head Lice presentation in our program this morning. It was very nice of her to step out of her busy schedule in the salon to educate our staff and students' parents about Head Lice. The presentation was about the basics of Head Lice: how it is spread, causes, treatments and preventions. Thank you Margie for being so nice and for sharing your knowledge to us! :)
