We just used Halberstadt's for suits for our wedding and overall our experience was fairly good. It's definitely a much better deal to buy suits than to rent suits or tuxes because at least the guys get to keep their attire so that was a definite plus. We did have a few issue with fittings. A couple guys needed multiple alterations, one suit was not sent out for alterations until the usher went in to pick it up which was inconvenient because he didn't live in town, one groomsman had his suit shipped to him but it got returned to the store in Sioux Falls and he had to get it fitted a couple days before the wedding but luckily they were very helpful with the last minute alterations. Also, the day of the wedding the personal attendant had to run to the store because the groomsmen didn't have the right color ties (they had black or grey when they were supposed to be maroon). Even with all the mix ups the fixes were pretty easy and they were willing to work with us to get it done. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was definitely a better deal than other options.

The older gentleman is fantastic. Extremely friendly and very good at measuring. The kids that work there are very rude and have no idea what they are doing. Only buy a suit when the older gentleman is working
