I went to the store because they were having a really great deal on shoes. While I was there, I noticed that there was only one associate, Louisa, working the entire shoe dept. by herself on a busy day. She was so attentive and was working with at least five or six ladies at a time. I just wanted to make sure that I thanked her publicly for her hard work. I was there looking for riding boots. She repeatedly went to the back to get what I asked for, and eventually helped me order what I needed when I realized I would need a size that wasn't in stock. She was wonderful, and I wanted to make sure that her efforts were greatly appreciated.

Nobody really seemed to know what they were doing. Prices are sky high such as $27 for a regular size bottle of lotion which is worse than actual lotion stores such as the nearby bath and body works. Place was clean in some parts, unkempt in others. Staff was slow, even the customers themselves were rude. Would not shop here again.

Went in to do some shopping yeah found a pair of shoes I really liked well when I went to finish my shopping the shoe department lady chased me down yelling I had to pay at her counter .... Yeah didn't buy those shoes ..... Well after Xmas I had to exchange a Clinique product never opened never used and wanted a more expensive product (never had a problem with exchanging Clinique even a used product) and the lady wanted to charge me 20 percent to exchange.... All's I have to say thank you Macy's for being so good to your new client!!!!

Received my bill in the mail and noticed a $2.00 charge.  Called them and asked why that charge and they said it was a late payment charge.  I said I have been a customer using my credit card for over 40 years.  I even worked at younkers for a time in the 70's.  I have never been late for a payment ever and asked if they could waive the $2.00 fee.  The girl didn't even hesitate and said absolutely not.  I told her I would mail a check for $2.00 and that would be the last transaction I would ever have with younkers and to close my account.  She said "sure".  Didn't even try to keep me as a customer.  Mailed in my $2.00 check and wrote a note telling them to close my 40 year old account with younkers and they were losing me as a customer over $2.00.  And that I will never shop there EVER again. There are tons of other stores to shop in.  I received a form letter in the mail saying they have closed my account but hope I will continue to shop younkers.  Are you serious?  You lost a 40 year plus customer over $2.00?  You guys are too stupid. I will NEVER EVER EVER EVER shop in younkers EVER again.  I hope you go out of business for being too dumb to deal with a $2.00 charge.

Needed to do an exchange and order the item online. Item was only $20. We were told we had to spend another $5 or pay $10 Shipping. We asked to have it shipped to the store to pick up but that was not an option either... Needless to say we did a return and was on our way.
