Halifax OBGYN is full-service obstetrics and gynecology (OBGYN) practice. They have led the way with new minimally invasive surgery techniques, including the ability to perform major gynecologic surgeries through tiny incisions with minimal recovery. Currently, the vast majority of surgeries performed at Halifax OBGYN are to remove endometriosis, ovarian disease, fibroids or complete hysterectomies, all with tiny incisions. Recovery is either a same day discharge, or an overnight hospital stay. Drs. Baldwin and Cortez are proficient in the DiVinci Robotic System and perform robotic procedures at Halifax Health.
The practice has been serving Volusia and Flagler counties since 1988. The practice consists of Dr. Thomas Stavoy, Dr. Pamela Carbiener, Dr. Stephen Cortez, Dr. Cynthia Baldwin, Laurie Bell, CNM, DNP, and Patricia Kruse, CNM, DNP. They offer care for teenagers, women in their reproductive years, and women that are pre and post-menopausal. They also have infertility services, contraception planning, and 4D Sonograms. They currently have a staff of 24 and accept most insurance plans. The practice is located at 1890 LPGA Blvd, Suite 160 in Daytona Beach, FL, and is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm.
