I'm consistently impressed by Hallava Falafel. Their menu is executed perfectly every time and the quality and freshness cannot be beat. It's always worth a trip if I'm in the area, or ordering from a food delivery service. Protip: add garlic to the double dropped fries. Delicious.

I loved this place, 5 stars easily. The shawarma in my opinion was hands down the best thing on the menu. The fries are still legit. However the last couple of times that I have been there have been beyond disappointing. The shawarma meat the last 2 time's was beyond terrible. It had the consistency of a cracker, was cold and tasted like it had been left under a heat lamp for way to long. I usually get it to go so I couldn't return it. There only seems to be one guy working the truck now where there used to be a couple people. Maybe he's just shorthanded who knows but the quality has definitely suffered. Maybe I just hit it on the wrong days but 2 times in a row is giving me some pause in going back. I hope they get this fixed as I said before they had the best shawarma in the city period.

Great place for quick bite of lunch in Georgetown when you don't have an hour or two to hang around. The Shawarma meat was amazing. Melt-in-your-mouth.
