The hotel is currently (as of March 8, 2018) under construction. The room I was in was recently renovated (pictured below) and was nice. The outside of the building, the pool and some of the meeting places were still under construction while I was there. Fortunately, the construction was not disruptive as it took place only during working hours. The hotel is located a short drive from both Tinker AFB and Oklahoma City, just off of I-40E.

They were in the process of remodeling while I was there and I got to stay in a remodeled room. Really loved the new updates! Everyone was very friendly, room was clean, and breakfast was good.

The parking lot was weird, the service road only allowed for one way driving. I was unaware because I'm not used to the area. I was driving the wrong way and almost had a head-on collision because the drive way is only wide enough for one vehicle and is curbed. Hampton Inn may want to rethink their parking lot. When I visited, there was a renovation going on. The walls were primed but not panted, several common areas were not tiled with the slab exposed, and everything just felt a little drab. There was no consideration for this fact when it came time to pay, we paid the same rate as if all of the amenities we're available and the environment was comfortable.

The hotel is located next to several others but definitely stands out. Inside has a very homey feel to it with a complementary self serve breakfast. There is also a little pool and workout room. Our room was newly renovated and was very clean. My only complaint was that the bathroom fan wasn't working and the bathroom door closed but had spaces so I didn't feel like I had complete privacy.

The front desk and cleaning crew are very nice and professional! The rooms have plenty of room for one, but would be really cramped for more than 2. Decor looks like it comes from Ikea, but it’s clean and neat. Bed is comfortable and free WiFi works well. Free breakfast is good, but never changes. I stay here on business quite often- they have never give me a reason to switch!
